Jason Proctor is chief technology
officer of Armored Online, a technology and services
company that delivers a secure, private branded channel
that establishes a trusted environment for financial
institutions and their customers to communicate and
transact. Mr. Proctor is responsible for managing the
overall technology quality of the company’s solutions.
He advises the executive team on the company’s
technology position and direction, and establishes and
maintains relationships with technology partners.
Mr. Proctor has 20 years experience
in software development, project management, and sales
support. As principal engineer at Bear River Associates,
he pioneered multiple tier application development
techniques which are today regarded as industry standards.
While serving as senior engineer at Software Ventures
Corp, Mr. Proctor developed a completely asynchronous
SSL implementation as part of the development of a
small-footprint high-speed web browser. In his role
as principal engineer at Insignia Solutions Inc, he
brought networking functionality to SoftPC and helped
spearhead its adoption by major financial players
such as Swiss Bank Corp, Merrill Lynch, and BZW.
